July SBA 504 Rates

The SBA 504 Green Energy Program now has no limit on the number of Energy Public Policy Projects or the aggregate dollar amount outstanding.

Key Updates:

• Higher Loan Amounts: SBA portion increased to $5.5M per project, compared to $5M for non-green projects.
• Unlimited Projects: No limit on the number of Energy Public Policy Projects.
• Unlimited Funding: No limit on the total dollar amount outstanding.

• Additional Funding: Qualify for an extra $5.5M SBA 504 Loan even if you’ve used your $5M allocation in SBA 7a or 504 loans.
• No Project Cost Limits: No limit to the total project cost.
• 90% Financing: For building or land acquisition, renovations, and new construction.
• Cost Savings: Lower energy and operating costs.
• Inclusive: Roll renewable equipment costs into the loan.

How to Go Green:

• Energy Reduction: Reduce energy consumption by 10% or more.
• Renewable Energy: Produce on-site renewable energy covering 15% of your energy use.

Qualifying Improvements:

• Energy-Efficient Building Upgrades: Improved roofing, energy-efficient windows, doors, and insulation.
• Renewable Installations: Solar, wind, geothermal, hydropower, and biomass.
• Efficient HVAC Systems: High-efficiency HVAC units or improvements with timers or sensors.
• Efficient Lighting: Replacement with high-efficiency fixtures.
